Gratitude…

Dec 22

Gratitude…I am overwhelmed with a sense of gratitude. I have been caught up in the hustle and bustle, the challenges of day to day life, and the goals I’m chasing. But today, I want to take a moment to pause and express my heartfelt thanks.

I am grateful for the people in my life. Family, friends, mentors – you are the pillars of support and the source of joy.

I'm thankful for the challenges, too. Each obstacle has been a lesson, a stepping stone toward growth. It's in those moments of struggle that I discover our strength and resolve for transformation.

Gratitude extends to the opportunities that have come my way. From adventures to moments of self-discovery, each experience has contributed to the tapestry of my life. Thank you, universe, for the chances to explore, learn, and evolve.

And lastly, I'm grateful for today. This very moment. It's a gift, a chance to make a positive impact, to savor the beauty of existence, and to share love with those around us.

In a world that often moves at a rapid pace, let's not forget to express gratitude. Whether through a simple "thank you" or a thoughtful gesture, let's cultivate a culture of appreciation. Together, let's create a ripple effect of positivity that brightens not only our lives but the lives of those we encounter.

What are you grateful for today? Share your thoughts and let's celebrate the beauty of gratitude together.

When One Door Closes....

Another door opens. I feel like I’ve been repeating that saying for the past 18 months in an effort to stay positive. Remaining flexible and committing to movement is getting me over some significant hurdles (and I’m not just just talking about house renovations here!).

Back on Track

It’s only August 15 and I am counting the days until this month ends. It has been a doozy!

August 3 we got an email from my son’s school saying that they didn’t think our family was a good fit for the school. Three weeks before school was to start and five months after depositing our FULL tuition payment.

Permit Process

I’ve had pretty good luck dealing with the SF Building Dept. Over the counter permits aren’t that difficult to obtain and I’ve found the city employees to be helpful and generally congenial.

Analysis

I put a lot of thought into a remodel. Yes I drool over tile, cabinet choices, floor options and light fixtures. But before diving in too deep and emotionally (or financially) investing in an outcome, I go through an analysis that can be quite painful.

It’s only been 10 years since my last post on my blog, 9411RenoV8. Life happened. I started the blog when we renovated our first home. I’m excited to be blogging again and will promise not to post just once every 10 years!
