Farewell 2025….Welcome 2026
How Did 2025 Treat You?
If I’m being honest, 2025 had its ups and its downs. Some wins, some challenges, a few curveballs… and I won’t pretend I’m sad to see it go. But that’s life, right?
When I reflect on the year, what stands out most are the connections.
In 2025, I made a ton of meaningful professional connections within the Compass community and beyond. I had the opportunity to attend several standout retreats, including the Annual Compass Retreat in Denver, an invite-only Top Performing Retreat in Carmel, and the Lake Tahoe Economic Summit. Add in weekly meetings that sparked thoughtful conversations about where our market is headed, happy hours, open houses, broker tours, and countless conversations throughout the year. It truly became a year of connection!
I also strengthened relationships outside of my own brokerage, connecting monthly with agents at Marin Buy | Sell meetings, collaborating during buy/sell transactions, and staying engaged with agents across the Bay Area. These relationships matter more than most people realize.
So why should you care?
Because every strong relationship I build with another agent directly benefits my clients. These connections often mean first hand knowledge of upcoming listings, access to off-market opportunities and smoother negotiations rooted in mutual respect and goodwill. In a competitive Bay Area market, that kind of advantage matters.
Real estate is, at its core, a relationship business. Not just the relationships I have with my clients but also my reputation among other agents as someone who is honest, trustworthy, and genuinely easy to work with. That reputation goes a long way when it’s time to advocate fiercely for my clients’ best interests.
As we step into a new year, I’m carrying forward the lessons of 2025. I am grateful for the growth, grounded by the challenges and energized by the relationships that make this work so meaningful.
Cheers to what’s next in 2026!
