Ask your parent(s) how they see the next 5-20 years in terms of where and how they want to live.
Do they have a Trust? Have they reviewed it recently as things may have changed.
Do they have the funds to age in place and the support system if they remain in their home.
How are they prepared for an emergency such as a fall or illness when they can’t move back into their home?
And dementia. Is there a friend or loved one that would notice if your parent started losing capacity to make decisions?
